OK now lets take a quick look at you and “working out”. This is a bit of a no brain-er although as we mentioned in part II it is generally synonymous with the term exercise. However most of us equate working out with a more structured environment such as going to a gym, turning on our favorite workout video or using our own exercise equipment at home.
When most people join a fitness club/gym to start “working out” they are usually looking for a place to get back in shape (regain there youthful health) which usually means tying to shed a few of those extra pounds of body fat that some how appeared out of seemingly nowhere . But it can be much more then that. For a great many of us it is also a place to meet with friends and make new ones, a place for a healthy social life. Working out is not just for the health of our body it is also good for mental health. As science has proven it to be a great stress reducer and adds mental stimulation with the mind body connection. So if you have been thinking of joining a gym or fitness club but have been stopped because of the pumping iron stigma, you may want to reconsider as the clubs today can be a great place to play and offer a variety of work out options.
